The city lies along the N-5 National Highway and Mehran Highway, 400 km and a 6 hr 11 min drive from Karachi. Sukkur Airport is about 80 km from Thari Mirwah, with domestic flights to Karachi. Thari is served by Mehrabpur & Setharja railway station. Thari is connected With Nawabshah by Mehran Highway and it takes 2 hours to reach Thari from Nawabshah.
