Takamori (高森) is a town in the Kumamoto Prefecture on the Japanese island Kyushu. It is near the city of Kumamoto. Takamori has a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers and cool winters. There is significant precipitation throughout the year, especially during June and July.
