Saquarema is a town of 91,000 people (2016) in the state of Rio de Janeiro, in the Southeast of Brazil. Saquarema has beautiful beaches: Massambaba, Barra Nova, Prainha, Boqueirão, Itaúna, Jaconé, Vilatur and Vila, with favorable conditions for surfing. One of the most famous is Itaúna beach.
