The town grew from a small fishing village, it does not have much more to offer: there is not much to see besides the clean and wide sand beach and the fishing boats. As on the rest on this part of the coast there is much new development aimed at summer tourists. It does however still feel calm and quiet outside of summer. There are only rare taxis going to Chefchaouen (or the other way around), 35 dirham per seat, 200 dirham for an entire car (as of Jan 2023), 1 hr.

There are not many options, but you should give the fish tajine (30-50 dirham) offered in the center a try. Touts can organize you a flat for about 150 dirham per night (and double that during peak summer months), check for a clean bathroom/kitchen and blankets.
