Multiple OptionsThe nearest airport to Nonoichi is Komatsu Airport (KMQ). The Komatsu airport receives flights through JAL and ANA, and even a few international flights. From the airport it is easiest to take the bus or train to Kanazawa. Nonoichi can easily be reached by using the local train. The train station is in the northern part of Nonoichi. Coming from Kanazawa, it costs only ¥190 (for adults) or ¥90 (for children). From there you will probably need to grab the local bus or the taxi to get to your destination. Buses run from Kanazawa to Matto. Get on the bus at the Kanazawa Train Station and it will cost about ¥370 per person to get to central Nonoichi. When you get on the bus, take a ticket (or swipe your ICA card, if you have one). Your ticket has the number of the stop you got on at. At the front of the bus, you will see a chart which shows the number of the stop you got on at, and the price you must pay if you want to get off of the bus at the next stop....
