Located near Interstate 5, it is one of a few places on this part of the freeway that have gas, food or lodging. On SR-46 just west of Interstate 5. Lost Hills is approximately 45 miles northwest of Bakersfield, 145 miles north of Los Angeles, and 240 miles south of Sacramento and San Francisco.

This place has been lost to construction and now exists only in this photograph, i wonder if anyone else ever captured the tranquility of this place or it just exists as this only remaining photograph and fading memory.
