It is connected by very good roads with the nearest cities like Warangal and Nizamabad and towns like Ramagundam, Mancherial and Kamareddy. It has one of the biggest and busiest bus stations in Telangana. It is connected to the state capital, Hyderabad, by Rajiv Rahadari. There are frequent buses from Hyderabad to Karimnagar (once every 10 minutes). Though Karimnagar is equipped with a railway station, the expansion program is still underway. If you want to come to Karimnagar by train, you can either get off at Warangal (80 km) or Kazipet (80 km) and get a bus from there. Alternatively, you can get off at Ramagundam (70 km) or Peddapalli (40 km) and get a local train which operates from Sirpur Khagaznagar to Jagitial via Ramagundam, Peddapall and Karimnagar. The train runs twice a day and takes longer than by road. So, strong advice is to take a bus from any of the stations mentioned above....
