Kajuru (Adara: Ajure) is a local government area in southern Kaduna State, Nigeria. Its headquarters is in the town of Kajuru. The major ethnic group is the Adara. The Adara people are otherwise known as Kadara by the Hausa. Others include the Hausa and settler elements such as the Hausa, Fulani, Yoruba, and Igbo, amongst others from the various parts of the state and country.
