Egbeda is an area in Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria. It is a local council development area (LCDA) under the Alimosho Local Government. Egbeda is a multi-lingual city. Like most parts of Lagos, Yoruba is spoken by much of the population, although other ethnic languages such as Igbo and Hausa are well represented. Many of its inhabitants speak English to a reasonable extent.
