Discover Daraga
Daraga is a landlocked municipality in the province of Albay and is adjacent to Legazpi, the capital city. It hosts the Bicol International Airport and is known for the Cagsawa Ruins. This town is located alongside Asian Highway 26 and is one of the five municipalities that has a jurisdiction over the foothill of Mayon Volcano. Daraga's name came from a Bikol word for maiden and thus came from the legend of Daragang Magayon, a beautiful maiden where the Mayon Volcano's name was taken.
