Spend up to 2-hours taking a Manga lesson from a professional Japanese Manga artist in English. This lesson can be adjusted to suit the student’s skill level, so whether you are a beginner or an experienced manga artist, you can learn something new and enjoy the experience. The lesson will have manga tools such as manga-paper, manga pens and ink, screen-tone, etc, prepared for your use. All you have to do is bring yourself. The teacher is Nao Yazawa, she is most well known for her manga series Wedding Peach, which was made into an anime series of the same name. Both the manga and anime series were translated into several languages. Since 2008, she has been teaching manga workshops (in English) internationally, in Germany, Denmark, Austria, Canada, and the United States. She also wrote/draw How to draw manga books, MANGA Drawing Deluxe and Drawing and Painting Anime and Manga Faces, in English and several languages.

We are a boutique tour company that is locally owned and operated. We pride ourselves on keeping our groups small to medium in size and avoid taking out large groups so that we can make our tours more personal and unique. This is a safe rafting tour which is great for people that want to experience a tropical river without driving too far. The starting point is only a 30 minute ride from Quepos and Manuel Antonio. The Upper Naranjo "Chorro" section is a beautiful mini canyon and is great a great option for dry season rafting (Dec. 15th - May 15th). The rapids are class 3 and 3+ and are perfect for the entire family. Not only will you raft past jungle waterfalls, there are places in the canyon where you can float just with your life vest in the calm waters. There is also a opportunity for some cliff jumping from 5, 10 and 15 feet is you so desire. At the end of the tour you will be served a fruit snack of pineapple, fruit juice, water and cookies. The drive back is only 20 minutes.

The Naranjo River is a Class III/IV half day challenge for more experienced paddlers. The Naranjo River drops steeply from the coastal mountain range above Quepos through a beautiful jungle gorge, and takes you on a wild ride to sea level, passing nearby farmlands and palm plantations. The river banks are overgrown with jungle and the canyon walls meet the water at 90 degree angles. The whitewater, jungle, canyon, and sky, make for an unforgettable day. For the advanced rafter, this is an exciting and refreshing ride through the Naranjo canyon. As well, if you are a first time paddler who welcomes a challenge and is looking for the excitement of big waves, hydraulics and stunning scenery, then this whitewater rafting trip is for you! It includes a snack, lunch, bilingual guides, safety kayak, photographer (pictures available for purchase), and A/C transportation to and from hotels or houses in Manuel Antonio or Quepos.

Round trip transportation is provided and you will be picked up at your hotel and drive 40 minutes to town of Londres, where the river put in is located. During this scenic drive, your guide will talk about the history of the town of Quepos. ONLY OPERATE IN RAIN SEASON

A transportation service will pick you up from Jaco area  and drive aprox 1 hour to the river put in for a great adventure.
