Visit Burano, the island of a thousand colors, known for the production of unique lace. With this exclusive tour you will have access to one of the historic Murano Glassworks and you will admire the art of glassblowing; also another exclusive is a visit to the Burano Lace Museum, one of the most fascinating museums of the Venetian Lagoon

Join us for a remarkable and spectacular demonstration of the Glass Masters of "The Glass Cathedral" which is dedicated to the love of working with Murano Glass. The most complete glass blowing demonstration on the island of Murano surrounded in a one of a kind ambiance ( inside a former XIIth century Church which was a glass factory already in 1826). You will be surrounded by soft music and the beautiful works of Murano Glass.  Here, you will be able to observe the masters at work  and watch as they create two original pieces before your eyes.   The demonstration is 25 minutes long and you may be able to sip a good glass of Prosecco or have a drink while enjoying your stay with us.

Set sail from Venice for a day tour of the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello. Depending on the option chosen, the departure can be from San Marco - Pontile Cornoldi or from the Venice train station, near the KFC. Our first stop is Murano : here you will visit a local furnace and witness the work of a master glassmaker up close during a live demonstration. Overall, you will have about an hour of free time on the island. You will then continue to Burano : here you will have about two hours of free time where you can choose a good place to have lunch or taste typical Venetian aperitifs. From Burano you will finally move to Torcello: here you will have about an hour to explore the island on your own, with the possibility to visit the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta (entrance fee not included). Planned return to San Marco & Ferrovia in the late afternoon.

Get ready to discover the Murano island, witnessing artistry in action in its glass factories, experiencing the lampwork tradition by creating your own Venetian bead and visiting the Byzantine-style 12th century mosaics of its churches. You will have a personal glass lampwork workshop, in which you will create your own Venetian bead, keeping alive a 17th century artistic practice. We will visit the oldest glass factory in the world active since 1295 and see how tradition is combined with contemporary design and creativity. We will stroll around Murano, discovering some hidden gems like its churches and walking through off-the-beaten paths.

Set sail on a boat tour from Venice to the islands of Murano and Burano. Sail there on a comfortable ship, enjoy some time exploring the islands at your leisure, and watch a glass-blowing demonstration in Murano. Depart from San Marco or Venice train station (depending on the option selected) and head to Murano and Burano. Meet your crew and sail across the lagoon, enjoying the view from a viewing terrace along the way. Discover the art of glass making in Murano and visit a glass factory. Learn more about the traditions and processes behind glassmaking. Then, admire the colorful houses of Burano and take a stroll through the picturesque streets. In the evening, return to the original meeting point.
